And I’m a full-time software developer, part-time traveler from Bucharest, Romania, that visited over 35 countries to date.

I first went abroad at age 21, to attend a concert in Paris, France. Fast forward 5 years later and I had my biggest travel spree ever: I went on a trip every month of the year except for January, June, and August.

Since then, I slowed down a bit and now my travels tend to be longer and more in-depth as I try to find the perfect balance of really experiencing a place, without overstaying.

I still travel at a fast pace but at the same time, I strive to spend enough time in a place that I won’t have regrets if I wouldn’t be able to visit it ever again.

My itineraries also got more complex as I became more confident in my planning abilities and I yearned for more off-the-beatten-path destinations.

Everybody has their way of relaxing, mine is searching for flights, accommodation, or making itineraries. I like to plan my trips as much as I love taking them.

This blog is another way for me to express my passion for travel. Here you will find DIY travel tips and detailed guides and itineraries (with a special focus on Europe since that’s where I travel most often).
